This project is the highlight of my career during my tenure at Lake|Flato. It has received numerous awards, from Texas Society of Architects to Dezeen, and has been featured in Architectural Digest and Dwell. My role on this project was as lead designer. Years were spent fine tuning energy + water performance, to harness the power of the desert sun and protect the desert’s most valuable and scarce resource, water. I followed this project through construction, working closely with the builder and client to make sure all the carefully drawn details came to life, and that our client’s interior selections were honored. I will be forever grateful for this experience.
